Dear Public House Patrons,
After six seasons of providing quality, thought-provoking productions, Public House Theatre Company will be taking a hiatus for the 2012-13 season. As we look toward the future, The Pub has opted to pause from production to reflect on our past and build upon our foundation, in order to ensure that we can bring you the theatre of our vision for many years to come. Our newly expanded Board of Directors is excited about their decision to spend the coming year developing and restructuring the Company. We look forward to announcing the 2013-14 season next spring!
We’re greatly indebted to all of you who have made it possible for us to offer so many memorable moments of theater from our first season in Vancouver, WA through the season that recently closed. “To Kill a Mockingbird,” our 2011-12 opener, was the highest-grossing production in our history. The staged readings we presented this year were a new venture for us, and were very well received. Our last show of the season, “Tuesdays with Morrie,” was heartwarming; inducing sniffles and tears amongst the audience after every performance. We are very pleased with the success of the past season and hope you enjoyed seeing the plays as much as we enjoyed presenting them.
Our decision to step back and regroup has already invigorated us. We can’t wait to dig in and start strategizing for the 2013-14 season and well beyond. To be clear, we’re not going away – we’re just getting better! You’ll be hearing more from us during the coming year.
Thanks so very much for your past and continued support. We couldn’t have come this far without you and hope you will be with us for many more seasons.
Sincerely all the best to you, and please stay tuned!
Dustin Milberg and Jolin Milberg,
Company Founders
